NEET UG 2026 Results Announced; Over 80,000 Students Qualify

Mumbai, July 17: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination. Candidates can check their results on the official website under “Re-NEET UG 2026 Result” or “NEET UG 2026 Score Card.”

A total of 1.12 million candidates have qualified for the re-examination, with female students outperforming their male counterparts. Notably, 138 candidates scored above 690 out of 720, with Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana sharing the top position with 715 marks.

Counseling Process to be Conducted in Two Phases:

  • MCC (AIQ) Counseling – Covers 15% All India quota seats, including those for AIIMS, JIPMER, central universities, ESIC, and deemed universities.
  • State Quota Counseling – Covers 85% of government medical seats in each state and most seats in private medical colleges.

Students are advised to disregard false news circulating on social media regarding the results and to rely solely on official updates.

Exam Conducted on June 21:
The Re-NEET UG 2026 examination took place on June 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM in an offline (OMR-based) format. Approximately 2.2 million students registered for this exam, which was held after the previous NEET UG 2026 exam was cancelled due to a paper leak controversy.

Conducted Across 551 Cities:
The Re-NEET UG 2026 was conducted in 5,440 exam centers across 551 cities in India and at 14 centers abroad. For the first time, the Indian Air Force assisted in securing the question papers, transporting them to exam centers using C-17 transport aircraft and Mi-17 helicopters.
