
Lucknow, July 18: In a disturbing incident of child abuse, a 5-year-old nursery student was reportedly assaulted by a class monitor at ALS Academy in Vrindavan Yojana, Lucknow. The incident, which lasted for approximately 12 minutes, occurred in the absence of the class teacher and was captured on CCTV.
The girl monitor allegedly punished the boy for not keeping his head down, striking him multiple times and even pulling his hair. Eyewitness accounts from other students reveal that they remained silent during the ordeal, as the monitor locked the classroom door to prevent any intervention.
When the boy attempted to open a second door to escape, he was forcibly pulled back and continued to be beaten. The CCTV footage later confirmed the severity of the assault, showing visible injuries on the child’s face.
Following a complaint from the child’s parents, the school principal reviewed the footage, which led to immediate action. The class monitor has since been expelled from the school, and a police case has been registered against her. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, with parents demanding strict action against those responsible.
