
Lucknow, April 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Ganga Expressway today during his visit to Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. This significant project, which spans 594 kilometers and features a six-lane, access-controlled design, has been developed at a cost of ₹36,000 crores.
The expressway is expected to reduce travel time between Meerut and Prayagraj from approximately ten hours to just six. In addition to the expressway, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for 163 projects worth ₹6,332 crores, including the Signature Bridge and a super-specialty hospital at the Kabirchaura District Hospital.
This visit marks PM Modi’s first trip to Kashi in 2026, and it is notable as his 54th visit to the region in the past eleven years.
