RBI Signs MoU with Cyber Crime Coordination Centre

Mumbai, May 14: The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Reserve Bank of India’s Innovation Hub to combat cyber fraud and identify hidden accounts. This agreement, finalized on May 12, aims to enhance intelligence sharing and analytical support to tackle fraudulent activities effectively.

The collaboration will focus on detecting fraudulent accounts, which are often used by scammers to transfer money obtained through cyber crimes. The MoU is expected to make India’s digital payment systems more secure and user-friendly.

This initiative reflects the commitment of both organizations to safeguard the financial ecosystem and protect citizens from cyber threats.
