Ajmer, May 27: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the recruitment for the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services (RAS) Combined Competitive Examination-2026, offering a total of 607 positions. This includes 192 posts for state services and 415 posts for subordinate services. Candidates must be aged between 21 and 40 years as of January 1, 2027.
Earlier, on April 17, the commission released the results for RAS-2024. In January, the state government had issued a calendar for one lakh recruitment examinations, indicating that the RAS recruitment for 2026 would involve approximately 500 positions. The preliminary examination was initially proposed for May 3, but the vacancy announcement was delayed.
Examination Fees:
- For general (unreserved) and other backward classes (OBC) from the creamy layer in Rajasthan: ₹600.
- For non-creamy layer OBC, economically weaker sections, and persons with disabilities in Rajasthan: ₹400.
How to Apply:
Candidates need to visit the commission’s website at https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and click on the online application link or log in through the SSO portal at https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
They must select the recruitment portal in the Citizen App (G2C) and complete the One Time Registration (OTR). For first-time OTR, candidates must provide details such as their name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary or equivalent examination, and one ID proof from options like Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, or driving license, along with document uploads.
After logging in, candidates can select the recruitment option available in the Citizen App and apply online based on their OTR number. Please note that once the OTR is completed, no changes can be made to the OTR profile.
