Ajmer, May 28: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 371 Assistant Prosecutors in the Home Department. Online applications will be accepted from June 8 to July 7.
The preliminary examination for this recruitment is scheduled to take place on September 2. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and under 40 years as of January 1, 2027. The age calculation is based on January 1, 2025, and candidates will receive an additional one-year age relaxation as no advertisement was issued for these positions since they were first announced in 2024.
Selection will be conducted through a competitive examination comprising two stages: the preliminary exam and the main exam.
Examination Fees:
- For General (Unreserved) and Creamy Layer OBC applicants from Rajasthan: ₹600.
- For Non-Creamy Layer OBC, Economically Weaker Section, and Divyang candidates from Rajasthan: ₹400.
How to Apply:
Candidates must visit the RPSC website at https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and click on the online application link or log in through the SSO portal at https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
They will need to select the Recruitment Portal in the Citizen App (G2C) and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR). For first-time OTR, candidates must provide their name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary or equivalent examination details, and upload one ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, or driving license.
Once registered, candidates can log in to the Citizen App and apply online using their OTR number. Please note that changes to the OTR profile will not be allowed after registration.
