
Ajmer, June 2: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the recruitment of three Senior Scientist positions while also increasing the number of vacancies for Sub-Inspector (SI) and Assistant Engineer (AEN) for the year 2024.
In the latest update, the number of SI posts has been increased by 61, bringing the total to 1,086. Similarly, 23 additional AEN positions have been added, raising the total to 1,027. The commission has released a notification regarding these changes.
The increase in SI posts pertains to the ongoing recruitment for the Home Department, specifically for the Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander positions for 2025. The non-scheduled area has seen an increase of 61 posts, going from 896 to 957. However, there have been no changes in the scheduled area, Sahariya, IB, and Platoon Commander positions.
For the Water Resources Department, the AEN recruitment has also seen an increase, with 23 new civil engineering posts added, raising the total from 156 to 179.
Online applications for these positions will open on June 11 and will remain available until July 10, 2026, at midnight. Candidates wishing to apply for more than one division must submit separate applications for each position. Offline applications will not be accepted, and the exam date will be announced later. Additionally, the RPSC has released the interview schedule for Physical Training Instructors (College Education Department) recruitment 2023 and various positions under the Assistant Professor (Medical Education Department) recruitment 2024. Interviews for the fifth phase of the Physical Training Instructor exam will take place on June 15 and 16.
Candidates are required to bring a recent passport-sized photograph, original identification documents, and all necessary certificates with photocopies to the interview. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the interview process. The interview letters will be uploaded on the commission’s website in due course.
Furthermore, the syllabus for the Protection Officer (Women and Child Development Department) competitive exam for 2025 has been uploaded on the RPSC website, available under the name ‘Protection Officer, 2025’.
