Ajmer, June 7: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the recruitment for 371 posts of Assistant Prosecution Officer (APP) under the Home Department. Online applications will begin on Monday, with the last date for submission set for July 7.
The preliminary examination for this recruitment is proposed to be held on September 2. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and under 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027. The commission had advertised these posts in 2024, and the age calculation will be based on January 1, 2025. However, since no advertisement was issued for these posts, candidates will receive an additional one-year age relaxation for the maximum age limit.
Selection will be conducted through a competitive examination, which will consist of two stages: the preliminary exam and the main exam.
Examination Fees:
- For general (unreserved) and creamy layer candidates from Rajasthan’s Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC), the fee is ₹600.
- For non-creamy layer candidates from Rajasthan’s OBC/EBC, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and persons with disabilities, the fee is ₹400.
Other RPSC Recruitment Updates:
Applications for the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services (RAS) Combined Competitive Examination-2026 for 607 posts are open until July 3. The exam is scheduled for November 29, 2026. Candidates must be aged between 21 and 40 years as of January 1, 2027.
Additionally, the recruitment process for 121 posts of Lecturer (Special Education) in the Secondary Education Department is ongoing, with applications accepted until June 30, 2026. Candidates must be aged between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2027.
Furthermore, recruitment for three posts of Senior Scientific Officer in the State Forensic Science Laboratory will commence on June 11 and remain open until July 10. Candidates applying for multiple divisions must submit separate applications for each position.
