Visakhapatnam, August 21: A tragic incident occurred on August 20 when a six-year-old boy died after being assaulted by his teacher at Little Gardens School. CCTV footage revealed that the child collapsed in the teacher’s arms following the beating. The parents allege that the assault caused the child to suffer a heart attack out of fear.
The shocking incident was captured on classroom CCTV, showing the teacher attempting to strip the crying child and slapping him.
Doctors Declared the Child Dead
The child, identified as Pranay Teja, was a UKG student. After collapsing, he was rushed to King George Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. The family claims that he had already died before reaching the hospital. Following the incident, the family has demanded strict action against the school management and the teacher involved.

District Education Officer Prem Kumar commented on the incident, stating, “A tragic event occurred at Little Gardens School where a UKG student was severely beaten by a teacher, resulting in his death.” An ambulance was dispatched immediately upon receiving the call, and a detailed report has been submitted to higher authorities. Strict action will be taken against the school management and the teacher.
