
Mumbai, June 27: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the commencement of applications for the PCS 2024 examination. Graduates are invited to apply through the official UPPSC website at uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates will be able to make corrections to their application forms until August 3, 2026.
The last date for fee submission is set for July 27, 2026, and the preliminary examination is scheduled for December 6, 2026.
Candidates are advised to have their One Time Registration (OTR) number ready while applying, as it is mandatory for the application process. To obtain the OTR number, candidates must register at least 72 hours before submitting their application to ensure their details are updated in the system.
What is OTR?
One Time Registration (OTR) is a process where candidates fill in their basic information once on the commission’s portal. This simplifies future applications, as candidates will not need to repeatedly enter their basic details, reducing the chances of errors.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a graduation or post-graduation degree from a recognized university, depending on the position applied for.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- For Persons with Disabilities (PH): Maximum 55 years
- For Principal (Government Inter College): 30 – 40 years
Selection Process:
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
- Interview
- Physical Standard Test for certain positions
Application Fees:
- General, EWS, OBC: ₹125
- SC, ST: ₹65
- Persons with Disabilities: ₹25
- Ex-servicemen: ₹65
Salary:
The salary will range according to Level 7 to Level 10.
