
Lucknow, April 21: The admission process for undergraduate (UG) courses at Lucknow University and KKC has officially begun for the academic session 2026-27. Online registration through the Samarth portal started on April 17, with the last date for applications set for May 31.
Candidates wishing to enroll in the university and its affiliated colleges must first complete the LURN registration. Following this, applicants can proceed to apply through the official website of KKC.
Post-Registration Process
After completing the LURN registration on the LU site, candidates must submit a separate online application based on their preferred UG course. This includes selecting a program, filling in educational details, uploading necessary documents, and paying the application fee.
KKC is offering over 4,000 seats for admission. The admission process at KKC, one of Lucknow’s largest aided colleges, commenced on April 10. Students can apply only through online means by logging into the college’s official website.
Seat Details
According to KKC spokesperson Prof. Vijay Raj, the seat distribution includes 1,080 for BA and BCom, 1,160 for BSc, 320 for LLB, 600 for BCom Honors, 60 for BBA in IB, 60 for MCom, 60 for Applied Economics, 30 for MSc Physics, 30 for MSc Chemistry, 50 for MSc Botany, 50 for MA English, 50 for MA Sociology, 60 for MA Hindi, and 50 for BPEd. Additionally, there are self-financed seats available.
