Last Day to Apply for 530 Apprentice Positions at UCO Bank

Mumbai, October 29: UCO Bank has announced that today is the final day to apply for 530 apprentice positions. Candidates who have not yet submitted their applications are urged to do so as soon as possible. This recruitment drive offers selected candidates the opportunity to gain one year of work experience across the bank’s branches nationwide. The online application process began on October 14, 2026, and the online examination is scheduled for November 7, 2026.

UCO Bank has categorized the 530 vacancies as follows: 205 for the unreserved category, 147 for other backward classes, 106 for scheduled castes, 49 for scheduled tribes, and 23 for economically weaker sections.

In terms of state-wise vacancies, West Bengal leads with 86 positions available, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 45, Odisha with 41, and Rajasthan with 37. Other states with vacancies include Bihar (34), Maharashtra (32), Madhya Pradesh (27), Himachal Pradesh (25), Assam (24), Punjab (24), and Tamil Nadu (21). Candidates are advised to check the official notification for the complete list of vacancies in their preferred states.

When applying for the UCO Bank apprentice recruitment, candidates must adhere to certain essential criteria. They can only apply for one state or union territory; applications for multiple locations may lead to disqualification. Additionally, candidates must possess proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the respective state.

To be eligible for the apprenticeship, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in India. They are also required to register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/. Furthermore, candidates must participate in the online examination conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC).
