Jaipur, July 28: The Rajasthan government’s Department of Local Self Government has issued a notification for the direct recruitment of 24,752 contract sanitation worker positions across 183 urban bodies in the state. Selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis and may later be regularized. Applicants can only apply to one urban body; multiple applications will lead to disqualification. It is mandatory for applicants to be residents of Rajasthan.
Eligibility:
– No educational qualification is required.
– A minimum of one year of experience in sanitation work through any urban body, contractor, or authorized agency is necessary.
– Experience can be continuous or in different periods, but the total duration must be one year.
– Experience certificates must be issued by the relevant urban body or authorized officer.
Application Fees:
– General: ₹600
– Reserved and Persons with Disabilities: ₹400
Age Limit:
– 21 to 40 years
– Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules for reserved categories.
Salary:
– ₹7,410 per month
Selection Process:
– Candidates will be selected through a lottery process.
