Ajmer, May 31: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has commenced the Lecturer and Coach Competitive Examination 2025 today. This recruitment exam is set to fill a total of 3,944 positions and will continue until June 11, 2026, with approximately 5.5 lakh candidates registered to participate.
The first session recorded an attendance of 56.84%. A total of 844 exam centers have been established across 15 districts, including 70 centers in Ajmer. Candidates were allowed entry one hour prior to the exam after thorough security checks.
The examinations are categorized into four groups (A, B, C, and D), with exams scheduled in 15 district headquarters until June 5. From June 6 to June 11, exams will be conducted exclusively at the Jaipur district headquarters.
Candidates were required to present their original color Aadhaar cards for entry. If the photo on the Aadhaar card was outdated or of poor quality, alternative identification such as a voter ID, passport, or driving license was accepted.
The commission has urged candidates not to fall prey to brokers or criminals promising to facilitate their success in the exam. Any requests for bribes or fraudulent practices should be reported to the investigation agency and the commission’s control room at numbers 0145-2635200, 2635212, and 2635255.
Violations of examination protocols may lead to severe penalties under the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2022, including life imprisonment, fines up to ₹10 crore, and confiscation of assets.
The Group-C exam will cover various coaching positions in athletics, basketball, handball, kabaddi, table tennis, and volleyball, with the first paper on General Studies scheduled for June 10. The Group-D exam will take place on June 11, focusing on Physical Education subjects.
The initial advertisement for the recruitment of lecturers and coaches was released on July 17, 2025, for a total of 3,225 positions across 27 subjects, later increased by 219 positions in Political Science and an additional 500 positions for Agriculture Lecturers announced on August 28, 2025.
