RPSC SI Recruitment: KYC Mandatory for 3.83 Lakh Candidates

Ajmer, May 24: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced that all 383,097 candidates for the Sub-Inspector Recruitment Re-exam 2021 must complete their KYC (Know Your Customer) process again. The examination is scheduled for September 20.

Candidates who have forgotten their SSO ID or are unable to make corrections to their application forms can access their data, which includes their name, father’s name, date of birth, application number, and original SSO ID.

RPSC Secretary Ramniwas Mehta stated that the necessary data for eligible candidates has been uploaded on the commission’s official website. Candidates can view their SSO ID and complete the current amendment process from there. Additionally, SMS notifications containing application numbers and SSO IDs are being sent to candidates’ registered mobile numbers. Candidates can also update their registered mobile numbers or email IDs free of charge.

Those whose one-time registration KYC is incomplete must complete it. Even candidates who do not wish to make any amendments must consent to the use of a live photo, signature, and thumbprint.

Free Solutions for Changed Mobile Numbers or Emails
Candidates whose registered mobile numbers or email IDs have changed can update them free of charge if they face issues with OTP verification. They can file a complaint on the commission’s grievance portal or email [email protected]. They can also submit a request in person at the commission office.

After the details are amended, candidates will be able to transfer their old records to the new profile using the ‘Fetch Application Form’ option.

Demo Videos and Help Documents Released
To simplify the process, the commission has released help documents and demo videos in Hindi and English. Candidates can access these resources from the ‘Important Links – Apply Online Link’ section on the commission’s homepage.

KYC Mandatory for All Candidates
The commission has emphasized that even candidates who do not wish to make any amendments must open their forms in ‘Edit Mode’ to provide a live photo, signature, and thumbprint. They must then click the ‘Final Submit’ button and enter the OTP. Failure to complete this final KYC will render the application process incomplete.

Deadline: May 30
This process will run from May 16 to May 30. Candidates who fail to provide the mandatory consent or ignore the instructions by May 30 will not be given another opportunity.

The commission urges all eligible candidates to complete this process to participate in the examination.

3.83 Lakh Candidates Eligible for the Exam
Only the 383,097 candidates who appeared in both papers of the previously conducted written examination will be eligible for this exam. The age limit, reservation, qualifications, and other conditions related to the recruitment will remain as per the advertisement issued on February 3, 2021, and the letter issued on June 7, 2021.
