Ajmer, August 2: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced that it will release the results for OMR sheet-based exams with less than one lakh candidates within 20 days. For exams with more than one lakh candidates, the commission plans to file an advance caveat in court to prevent unnecessary delays in the recruitment process.
RPSC Chairman, retired Lieutenant Colonel Kesari Singh, has issued directives to ensure timely completion of the recruitment process. The commission aims to declare results for all exams within a maximum of 90 days.
Under the ‘Mission 30 Days 30 Results’ initiative, the commission has successfully declared 30 results from July 1 to July 30. Approximately 100 more exam results are pending, with plans to announce over 30 results in the next 30 days. The commission is working to ensure that 90% of results for all recruitment exams conducted by October 10 are declared on time, allowing timely appointments for youth and curbing prolonged recruitment processes.
To expedite results, the commission has evaluated the entire process from exam centers to the checking of OMR sheets and identified areas causing delays.
Additionally, the filing of a caveat in court serves as a legal notice to ensure that no unilateral orders or actions are taken against RPSC without hearing its side. This measure is expected to prevent unnecessary delays in the recruitment process, as RPSC has won over 90% of cases when presenting its arguments in court.
Currently, the position of RPSC Chairman is awaiting permanent appointment, with Kesari Singh serving as the acting chairman. There are three vacant member positions in the commission, while six members are actively working. The secretary position is also currently vacant, with additional responsibilities assigned to the Chief Examination Controller, Ashutosh Gupta.
