Mumbai, August 8: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of 1,538 Junior Associates (Clerk) under a special recruitment drive for 2026. This recruitment aims to fill backlog vacancies for SC, ST, and OBC categories.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation degree required.
- The degree must be obtained by December 31, 2026.
- Final year or final semester students can also apply, but they must provide proof of passing the examination by December 31, 2026.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 28 years
- OBC: 3 years relaxation
- SC, ST: 5 years relaxation
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years relaxation
Application Fee:
- SC, ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen: Free
- OBC and all other categories: ₹750
Salary:
Monthly salary ranges from ₹24,050 to ₹64,480.

Exam Pattern:
There will be negative marking of 1/4 marks for each incorrect answer in both the Preliminary and Main exams.
