Senior Teacher Recruitment Exam Begins in Rajasthan

Ajmer, July 12: The Senior Teacher Recruitment Exam in Rajasthan commenced today, attracting over 12 lakh candidates across 27 districts. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has set up 1,221 examination centers for this significant recruitment drive, which aims to fill a total of 9,651 positions.

The exam is being conducted in two shifts today, with the first shift focusing on General Knowledge from 10 AM to 12 PM. However, there were some logistical issues reported, such as a delay in the arrival of metal detectors at a center in Sawai Madhopur, which led to candidates being allowed entry without security checks initially.

Candidates were permitted to enter the examination centers only until one hour before the exam started. The recruitment process is one of the major examinations scheduled for this year, with the least number of posts available in Gujarati and the most in Mathematics. The exam will be conducted in four groups from July 12 to July 18, 2026.

Security measures have been tightened at various centers, ensuring thorough checks for each candidate before entry.
