Ajmer, July 11: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is set to commence the Senior Teacher Recruitment Exam tomorrow, with over 1.2 million candidates registered to participate. This exam is one of the significant assessments scheduled for this year, covering a total of 9,651 posts across various subjects.
A total of 1,221 exam centers have been established across 27 districts to accommodate the candidates. The subjects with the highest number of posts include Mathematics, while only one post is available for the Gujarati subject. The examinations will take place from July 12 to July 18, 2026, divided into four groups based on subjects.
Candidates will be allowed entry to the exam centers only up to 60 minutes before the exam begins. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their original Aadhaar card. If the photo on the Aadhaar card is old or unclear, candidates may present alternative photo identification, such as a voter ID, passport, or driving license with a recent color photo. Additionally, candidates must affix a new colored photograph on their admit card.
RPSC has urged candidates to remain cautious and not fall prey to brokers or fraudsters promising to help them pass the exam. Any demands for bribes or other inducements should be reported to the investigation agency and the commission’s control room at the numbers provided.
The recruitment process has seen changes, starting with an initial advertisement for 6,500 posts last year, which was later increased to 10,537 and finally revised to 9,651 posts.
The exams for different subjects are scheduled as follows:
– Group A: Social Science – July 12
– Group B: Hindi – July 13
– Group C: Science and Sanskrit – July 14
– Group D: Mathematics, English, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Gujarati – July 16 to July 18.
Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly and adhere to the guidelines provided by RPSC to ensure a smooth examination process.
