Mumbai, September 4: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment of 1,748 Junior Engineer positions. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, ssc.nic.in. This recruitment drive aims to select candidates from Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering streams for key departments of the central government.
The last date for submitting the online application fee is September 23, 2026, by 11 PM. A correction window will be open from September 28 to September 30, 2026.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a BE or B.Tech degree in the relevant field or a three-year engineering diploma.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 to 32 years
- Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates as per government rules.
Salary: The monthly salary ranges from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.
