
Ajmer, April 15: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the detailed timetable for the competitive examination for lecturers and coaches in the Secondary Education Department. This announcement brings relief to approximately 550,000 candidates awaiting the exam schedule.
The exams for a total of 3944 positions will be conducted from May 31 to June 11, 2026. The examinations have been divided into four groups (A, B, C, and D) based on various subjects.
Out of the total, 3444 positions will be filled through direct recruitment, while an additional 500 positions for Agriculture lecturers will have a separate exam schedule.
Following the release of this schedule late Monday night, candidates now have about a month and a half to finalize their preparations.
For Group C, exams for various coaching positions (Athletics, Basketball, Handball, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, and Volleyball) will take place. The first paper on General Studies is scheduled for June 10, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by the second paper from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Group D exams will be held on June 11, with the first paper from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second paper from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, focusing on General Studies in Physical Education subjects.
The RPSC had announced the recruitment advertisement for lecturers and coaches in the Secondary Education Department on July 17, 2025, covering a total of 3225 positions across 27 subjects. Subsequently, 219 positions were added for Political Science, and on August 28, 2025, an additional 500 positions for Agriculture lecturers were announced, bringing the total to 3944.
