RPSC Introduces Grievance Redressal Initiative for Candidates

Ajmer, October 11: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced a new initiative allowing candidates to present their recruitment-related issues directly to officials. Starting this month, 30 candidates will be invited to the RPSC office every 15 days to discuss their grievances with the commission’s chairman, members, and officers.

This initiative, spearheaded by RPSC Chairman Lt. Colonel Kesari Singh, aims to enhance communication between the commission and the youth. The commission plans to launch a dedicated communication portal by the end of this month, enabling candidates to submit their issues online and schedule appointments for face-to-face discussions.

Currently, candidates can lodge complaints through the grievance portal and pre-litigation committee, but they lack the option for verbal submissions. The commission believes that direct dialogue is essential for addressing candidates’ concerns effectively.

Candidates can apply for these sessions by visiting the grievance portal on the RPSC website, where they can select the integrated communication option to request an appointment. Based on the nature of their issues, selected candidates will be called to the RPSC premises, where their problems will be heard, and appropriate actions will be taken.

Since January 1 of this year, the grievance portal has received a total of 26,635 complaints, with 26,426 resolved, showcasing a resolution rate of 99.88% within six days. The commission reviews complaints every Monday, ensuring timely resolutions through a structured approach involving multiple levels of officers.

Lt. Colonel Kesari Singh emphasized that addressing candidates’ issues promptly is the commission’s top priority. The shift to an online-only complaint system has led to an increase in candidates utilizing the grievance portal, as offline complaint submissions have been discontinued.

This new initiative marks a significant step towards improving transparency and responsiveness within the RPSC, fostering a more supportive environment for candidates.
