
Ajmer, May 31: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released an analysis of the RAS-2024 exam results, revealing that rural candidates performed notably well. Out of 1,096 positions, a total of 2,397 candidates reached the interview stage. Notably, Jaipur led with 247 candidates, followed by Jodhpur and Barmer. Over half of the candidates who made it to the interviews hailed from rural areas, with 1,343 of them currently employed in government or private sectors.
The successful candidates included 1888 who achieved first division in their graduation, and 39.60% were postgraduates. Among them were 14 doctors, 15 LLB/LLM degree holders, 10 MBAs, and 238 engineers. A significant 87.86% of the candidates received their higher education from various universities in Rajasthan, with Rajasthan University and Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University being the top contributors.
The results were announced on April 18, following a timeline that included the preliminary exam on February 2, 2025, and the main exam on June 17 and 18, 2025. The interview process took place from December 1, 2025, to April 17, 2026, culminating in the final results released on April 18, 2026, which listed a total of 2,391 candidates.
