Ajmer, September 10: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced that the fifth option rule will be mandatory for the OMR sheet in the re-examination for the Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander (Re-Exam) 2021, scheduled for September 20, 2026. A correction notice has been issued by the commission regarding this requirement.
Candidates can check their allotted examination district by logging into the SSO portal starting September 13, 2026. Admit cards will be uploaded on the commission’s website and the SSO portal on September 17, 2026. Detailed information is available on the commission’s website.
According to the commission’s secretary, the advertisement for the Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander exam was released on February 3, 2021. The exam was initially scheduled for September 13-15, 2021. However, the provision for a fifth option in the answer sheet was not included at that time, and thus it was not mentioned in the advertisement.
In accordance with the state government’s recommendation on May 6, 2026, the recruitment process for the Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander exam 2021 has been completely canceled, and the exam will be conducted again on September 20, 2026. Currently, all written exams conducted by the commission require the fifth option to be filled in the answer sheet if no answer is provided for a question.
Therefore, specific instructions regarding filling in the options on the OMR answer sheet will be implemented for the Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander exam 2021 (re-exam). The correction notice has been issued on the commission’s website, which candidates can view at https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. All other conditions of the advertisement will remain unchanged.
