Mumbai, September 12: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment of 1,871 Sub-Inspector positions in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, ssc.gov.in. There will be an opportunity to correct the application form from October 8 to 10, 2026.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation degree.
- Valid LMV driving license.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC: 3 years relaxation
- Ex-servicemen: 3 years relaxation
Application Fee:
- General: ₹100
- Women, SC, ST, Ex-servicemen: Free
Note that Paper 1 will have negative marking, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
Physical Efficiency Test for Male Candidates:
- 100 meters run: 16 seconds
- 1.6 kilometers run: 6.5 minutes
- Long jump: 3.65 meters, 3 attempts
- High jump: 1.2 meters, 3 attempts
- Shot put: 4.5 meters, 3 attempts
Physical Efficiency Test for Female Candidates:
- 100 meters run: 18 seconds
- 800 meters run: 4 minutes
- Long jump: 2.7 meters, 3 attempts
- High jump: 0.9 meters, 3 attempts

- Register and fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Submit the form after paying the fee.
