
Mumbai, September 17: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has announced the recruitment of 15,012 positions for Assistant Teachers and Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in the secondary and basic education departments. The last date for corrections in the application for Assistant Teachers is set for October 19, 2026. The examinations for these positions will be held on December 3 and 4, 2026, while the PGT exams are scheduled for December 15 and 16, 2026.
For the PGT positions, an advertisement number 06/2026 has been released, with online registration starting from September 18, 2026. The deadline for fee submission for PGT recruitment is October 17, 2026, and corrections in applications can be made until October 21, 2026.
Educational Qualifications:
– Graduation degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
– Completion of a teacher training course such as D.El.Ed, BTC, or B.Ed.
– Candidates must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), either CTET or UPTET. Those without TET will not be eligible for recruitment.
Salary:
Monthly salary ranges from ₹35,400 to ₹1,51,100.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 21 to 40 years old.

– SC, ST: ₹1,000
– Divyang: ₹300
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on a written examination and a merit list prepared from academic qualifications.
